A new work of art has been created at Pedvāle Art Park – a virtual “Unnamed Tree” by artist Angela Murr has been planted. By scanning with a smartphone the QR code installed in the park territory, you can see how a virtual tree is growing with a message as a symbol of European friendship.
The artist became acquainted with Latvia in 2009, when she spent three months in Riga, as part of the Strasbourg artist residency programme, and also visited Pedvāle Art Park. In 2011, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute and the French Institute, Angela Murr’s solo exhibition was held in the exhibition hall Arsenāls.
On a daily basis, Angela Murr works as an art and information technology teacher at Stuttgart Gymnasium.
